We want this event to be enjoyed by as many different visitors as possible of all ages. So here are some of the common questions if you are unsure. If you have a different question please feel free to contact us.

  • What do I bring?

If you have pre-purchased a ticket make sure you bring it. Also bring your drivers licence or proof of age card as there will be staff at the gate issuing wristbands to ticket holders. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
Oh, and don’t forget to bring your family and friends too!

  • What is not permitted on the ground?

As it is a sporting ground, no glass will be permitted inside the grounds. Please don’t bring your esky, as you will only have to walk it back to the car – no one likes walking further than they have to! No alcohol can be brought through the gate and there will be bag searches to ensure their are no foreign products or items carried into the event.
There is a plenty of room to enjoy a comfortable seat including a 700 seat grandstand and a spacious spectator hill so there is no need to bring a fold up chair.
Please do not bring any pets or animals.

  • Is smoking permitted at the venue?

There will be a location for patrons to have a cigarette. Please look for this location before lighting your cigarette and please consider others who are non-smokers attending the event with their families.

  • What are the conditions of entry?

As a responsible venue we will ensure the safety of all who attend. RSA marshals and security will be present and you will be asked to leave the venue if you are showing signs of intoxication or displaying unacceptable behaviour. There will be bag searches to ensure their are no foreign products or items carried into the event.

  • Can I take samples home with me?

If you love the samples you taste during the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase some take-home products from the bottle shop at West Tamworth League Club for a limited time following the event. As a licensed venue no alcohol may leave the venue during the event.

  • Can I bring my own food and water?

No, and there really is no need, as a tasting event you will want to sample the great products available. There will be free water stations available.

  • Will there be EFTPOS facilities available inside the venue?

Yes, we understand not everyone carries cash these days. There will be EFTPOS and cash out facilities available from the merchandise stall.

  • What if I need medical attention?

There will be first aid officers floating around should you require any assistance.

  • Is there a chance the event will be cancelled due to rain or bad weather?

The event will go on unless the conditions are deemed too dangerous. In the chances of bad weather please bring a poncho or small umbrella if it’s raining and good footwear.
