Established in 1909, Tamworth Tennis Club is one of Australia’s most historic Sporting Clubs, it has been a home for tennis for the past 100 years. Set amidst the parklands of Treloar Park, Tamworth Tennis Club has 11 courts all under lights.
The laid back and friendly attitude reflects the easygoing country area, around Tamworth.
There are 4 Tennis Pros available through the North West Tennis Academy.
Friday Night raffles are still a favourite for members and their guests with tickets on sale 6pm drawn from 7pm.
Sunday Raffles are on sale at 11:30am and drawn from 12:30pm.
In 2016 the Tamworth Tennis Club reached out for help as a small club struggling to keep the doors open. The club was kept going by a group of volunteers until the Wests Entertainment Group were able to bring the club under it’s wing. Wests re-branded the club as The Courts @ East and has some great plans to rejuvenate this small club and bring back all it’s potential.
Come and visit us, your support is always appreciated and essential to keep this club full of wonderful activity.
