Pete Denahy’s Comedy & Bluegrass Breaky Show

Hailing from the Northern Victorian town of Yackandandah, five-time Golden Guitar winner Pete Denahy is a comedian, a bluegrass musician, a songwriter and a singer whose also happens to run his own travel company specialising in music tours around the globe.

A Pete Denahy show has everything from serious ballads to ridiculous stories and songs with a twist including the viral YouTube sensation Sort Of Dunno Nothin’, the “teenager song” which has gathered in excess of 3million views to date and is seen as a Gen Y anthem.

A regular at music festivals across the length and breadth of Australia, Pete has toured with music icons such as the late Slim Dusty, Sara Storer, Troy Cassar- Daley and Lee Kernaghan as well as comedians Akmahl Saleh, Elliot Goblet and Flacco.

Being half Japanese, Pete draws much inspiration from both his late Grandfather Kido Zenichi who was a well-respected musician in Hiroshima and from his great friend, the late Geoff Mack, the man who wrote “I’ve Been Everywhere.”

A Pete Denahy gig is more than just a show; it’s an experience that will definitely leave you feeling better than when you arrived; It’s just a whole bunch of fun and good old fashion entertainment.
