SUMMARY:Angie Who
DESCRIPTION:Children’s Show\n\n\nAngie Who is a Sydney based independent artist dedicated to creating musical experiences for families that foster joy and connection. With a special interest in the profound benefits of parent-infant singing Angie recorded her first album ‘Littlefolk’ in 2015 and has continued to work in this area\, more recently facilitating ‘Lullaby Club’ a singing circle for new mothers (with tea and cake!). \n2023 saw her take a version of this (Lullaby Love) to The Sydney Opera House where she had the absolute joy of group singing in a room full of new parents\, grandparents and their tiniest family members. Angie has also worked with SOH hosting Kids Music Playtime in partnership with the Sydney Youth Orchestra. \nAngie is working on her 5th studio album in the family music space and counts it a great privilege to be able to create music that finds its way into the homes of families at such a precious (and hard) stage of life. \nIn describing her music\, one 6 year old reviewer noted “It sounds like a cowboy riding a donkey.” \nAngie Who and her band\, ‘The Joy Farmers’ deliver a swag full of tunes crossing between folk\, country\, bluegrass and a little bit of whimsy. They’ll serve it all up warm for you (we don’t want anyone burning their tongues) and hope you take it all back to wherever you’re going. Yip!

SUMMARY:Heartland - Springsteen\, Mellencamp\, Seger
DESCRIPTION:Presented by The Album Show\n\nThe Album Show returns with yet another show\, this time highlighting the music of the “Heroes Of The Heartland” – Bruce Springsteen\, John Mellencamp and Bob Seger.\n\nHeartland rock grew out of the intersection of rock and country in the 70’s. But it wasn’t until the explosion of these in the late 70’s\, that it became a bonafide subgenre. With an eye on the growing social consciousness of the mid 80’s\, this group of artists hit critical mass\, not only crossing over but dominating the mainstream.\nThe Album Show celebrates the important and iconic hits of these three incredible artists in a 2 set show\, presented by a 5 piece band of some of this collectives most popular singers and instrumentalists. The show will be hit after hit of music that changed the landscape of rock for generations to come. Not to be missed!
