Here’s what you need to know for Hay Mate, so you can come prepared!
Hay Mate, Buy a Bale is an all ages event. It is a licensed venue and all patrons under the age of 18 must be directly accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. (children under 12 general admission are free entry)
For disabled parking please follow signage and directions of parking staff on the day. A dedicated viewing area will be provided with view of the stage for disabled patrons and their immediate carer. Disabled access to the grounds will be via Stadium Drive – Gate C, the entrance gate between the Mercure carpark and the stadium on Park St side.
Belmore Street will be a pick up and drop off zone and is also the MAIN GATE of entry – Gate B. The Ticket Box, for anyone wishing to collect tickets, or purchase tickets at the gate, will also be located on Belmore Street.
Park Street entrance (Gate A) will not be opened to public access. Gate A is for authorised personnel only!
While there is no public entrance via Gate A, the Park Street gate there will be parking available along Park Street, as well as in our multi-level carpark via Phillip and Park Street and some parking available on the left hand side of the Kent Street parking lot.
The right side of the Kent Street parking lot will be authorised access only. Along with the road in between the back of the grandstand and the back of the Mercure Parking lot (Stadium Drive) up to Gate C
A large range of food and beverage offerings will be available for purchase on the day. A public bar will operate for the duration of the event.
