You may have noticed a few walls down and a lot of activity around the club lately — and we cannot wait any longer to share why.
West Tamworth League Club is undergoing the biggest transformation in our history. Right now the heart of the club has been stripped back to the bones so we can rebuild it into something truly special for you, our members.
Below is your exclusive behind-the-scenes look at where we are today, and a first glimpse of how it is all going to come together.

It looks like a lot of dust and bare concrete right now, and that is exactly the point. Every great space starts with a blank canvas. Here is where construction is up to today.

The Signature Space
The new heart of the club: Legends Lounge
Legends Lounge is being completely reimagined into a stunning new lounge and bar. At its centre, a brand new 11 metre bar will stretch right across the wall where the Legends stage once stood, sitting beneath the soaring high ceiling and striking exposed beams.
And in a nod to the club’s history, the Legends stage is returning to its original home — now facing proudly into the brand new Legends Lounge and bar. Live entertainment, the big game and a cold drink at the longest bar in the club.
This is where Wests will come together.
Food & Drink
A whole new way to eat and drink at Wests
We are bringing together a fresh line-up of dining and coffee, with a couple of names we think you are going to love.
We welcome Harvest Kitchen by Porterhouse Group to Wests
Harvest Kitchen arrives at Wests with a brand new, state of the art open plan kitchen. Watch the team in action and enjoy fresh, quality grill dining in a space built around the food.
A Tamworth Favourite Returns
Smoky’s Restaurant is coming home
Get ready — Smoky’s Restaurant is relocating and reopening right here at Wests. A much loved local name is back with a brand new dining experience, and we could not be more excited to have them home.

A brand new cafe is joining the club, serving great coffee and quick bites whenever you need a fast pick-me-up. Perfect for a catch-up, a coffee on the go or a quiet moment between the action.
Throughout the Club
Brand new furniture throughout
It is not just the big spaces getting the upgrade. Brand new furniture is rolling out right across the club, including your favourite existing areas like The Terrace and The Patio. Every corner of Wests is being refreshed so the whole club feels brand new from the moment you walk in.
