Introducing Simply West

All Ages Show

SIMPLY WEST is a four-piece, harmony-guitar-driven band of brothers formed by Ricky Nifo, Michael David, Enese Salu, and Joel Adams. The name “SIMPLY WEST” honors Ricky and the band’s roots in Mt Druitt, Western Sydney, grounding both their personal and musical identity.

Their storytelling fuses country, rock, and soul into a sound of their own, with influences from The Eagles, Chris Stapleton, and Sam Cooke. Their debut single, Fool That Don’t Belong, captured the attention of Tones & I, who invited them to open her Brisbane Riverstage show and another performance in Coffs Harbour.

Their follow-up single, Best Is Yet to Come, earned radio champion Ray Hadley’s praise, featuring live on his show. SIMPLY WEST’s debut EP releases December 12, including Best Is Yet to ComeFool That Don’t Belong, and new tracks like Already in Paradise and End of the Road.

Making their Tamworth Country Music Festival debut on January 25 at Wests’ Diggers, they’ll also join Amber Lawrence for a special performance and busk along Peel Street to connect with the community. With proud Pacifica, African, and Portuguese heritage, they represent the diverse soul of Western Sydney and Brisbane.
