Join us for the inaugural 2026 CRU Rugby Long Lunch in Tamworth, kicking off at 1pm on Friday 15 May. Gather your mates, enjoy great company, and settle in for an afternoon celebrating rugby.

The event will be hosted by Chris Webb, former Wallabies General Manager and highly respected rugby administrator, whose career has included roles with the NSW Waratahs, Western Force, the Wallabies, and the Japan Super Rugby Association. Chris currently works as a High Performance Adviser within the game.

Hear from an outstanding lineup of special guests including:

• Pat McCutcheon – Former NSW Waratahs player and Australian Rugby Sevens representative, who also competed at the Commonwealth Games.
• Charmain Steventon – Dual Rugby International (Sevens & 15s) and 2024 NSW Waratahs Hall of Fame inductee, now Head of Women’s Football at the West Tigers.
• Gemma Noller – Australian Rugby Sevens star and 2016 Rio Olympic Gold Medallist, currently Head Coach of the Inverell 1st Grade Men’s team.
• Peter Murphy – CEO of NSW Rugby.

Guests will enjoy a two-course meal and drink package, along with plenty of laughs, rugby stories, and lively banter from some of the game’s biggest personalities.
