Jason Owen Sings John Denver & Glen Campbell

Legends Live On Through Music, Songs & Stories

All Ages Show

Jason Owen is one of Australia’s most recognisable and respected country music artists, rising to national prominence as the runner-up on The X Factor Australia in 2012. Hailing from Dubbo, New South Wales, and raised in the tiny rural town of Albert—home to just a handful of residents—Jason’s journey from country kid to national star is as authentic as it is inspiring.

Following his breakout success on The X Factor, Jason signed with Sony Music Australia and released his debut album Life Is A Highway, which debuted at No.1 on the ARIA Country Charts and No.5 on the ARIA National Charts. Since then, he has built an impressive catalogue of releases, including Friday Night, Proud, and his acclaimed Jason Owen Sings John Denver series—earning multiple award nominations including Golden Guitar and CMC Awards.

Known for his powerful voice, down-to-earth personality, and deep connection to regional Australia, Jason has performed at some of the country’s biggest events including the Tamworth Country Music Festival and CMC Rocks. He continues to tour extensively across Australia, captivating audiences with both classic hits and original music.
Beyond music, Jason is a passionate advocate for rural communities. In 2019, he founded the charity Doin’ It For Rural Aussie Kids, supporting children and families in remote and regional areas through fundraising, outreach, and community initiatives.

Off stage, Jason is a devoted family man and continues to use his platform to inspire others, openly sharing his personal journey and challenges, including living with psoriasis. With a rapidly growing fanbase of over 500,000 followers across social media, Jason Owen has become a powerful voice in Australian music—blending country roots with modern storytelling and an unwavering commitment to giving back. As his career continues to evolve, Jason remains dedicated to connecting with audiences across the country and beyond, cementing his place as one of Australia’s leading country music artists.
