The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is an Australian Government statutory body responsible for promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces. They also support employers to remove barriers to the full and equal participation of women in the workforce, and promote the elimination of discrimination on the basis of gender.
In addition, WGEA is responsible for administering the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth). Wests Entertainment Group is required to submit an annual report to the agency each year.
