Hester Fraser and Brookie Gillett – sometimes better known as GOLDHEIST and Brookie G – met through the musical magic of Andrew Clermont’s Supper Club one year during the Country Music Festival, and have been making music together ever since. Each with a unique songwriting style and a mutual adoration and flair for vibrant, theatrical costumes, GOLDHEIST and Brookie G have been appreciated at folk festivals such as Woodford, St Alban’s and Kangaroo Valley, to name a few. They are also both founding members of BIRDS OF A FEATHER (SING TOGETHER), a collaborative performance project showcasing the music of regional women.
