Bringing together some of the biggest names in Rugby League for a great cause, this special event is an opportunity to hear incredible stories, share a few laughs and make a real difference for those affected by cancer in our region.

Expect an evening filled with entertainment, special guests, great company and plenty of opportunities to get involved, all while raising vital funds to support local cancer patients and their families.

A Night Inspired by Mel Nicholson

This event was inspired by the incredible journey of Mel Nicholson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022. After facing treatment with determination, humour and heart, Mel made it her mission to give back and help others navigating their own cancer journeys.

Through this event, Mel continues to bring the community together to raise awareness and much-needed funds for Cancer Council NSW, helping ensure people living with cancer in Tamworth and the North West have access to the care and support they need.

Supporting Our Local Community

Accessing cancer treatment and support services can be particularly challenging for those living in regional areas. Funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW continue providing essential services and programs, including:

• Transport to Treatment
• Home Help Services
• Accommodation support through Inala House
• SunSmart Schools, Tackling Tobacco and cancer prevention programs
• 13 11 20 information and counselling services

With Cancer Council NSW relying heavily on community fundraising, events like this play an important role in supporting local patients and families when they need it most.
