Australian ARIA Award winning genre-defying artist has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart with his sixth LP, THE SPACE BETWEEN via Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

Illy is the first Australian artist to secure the #1 ARIA Album position in 2021. THE SPACE BETWEEN marks his second ARIA Album #1 in his career, with his fifth LP TWO DEGREES also securing the top spot in 2016.

The album has received critical acclaim throughout its debut week.

Illy is a not to be missed live act and has earned his place atop festival line-ups. He sold out his Two Degrees album launch shows in theatres around Australia. His 45+ date Two Degrees Regional tour in 2018 won him the ARIA award for Best Live Act. He’s headlined high profile festivals including Falls Festival, Splendour In The Grass and Split Milk.

THE SPACE BETWEEN was launched January 15th, with a sold-out show in his hometown. He also treated fans to a very special virtual show, where he live-streamed his performance of songs from the record – bringing all the energy of an Illy show to life virtually

Australian contemporary rap hip-hop recording artist lamSnap (Shannon Elliott) is the kind of artist whose artistic explorations and achievements reveal a depth and breadth that’s impossible to ignore.
