A graduate of the Australian Institute of Music’s contemporary voice department
Rae Moody is a seasoned live performer who has been a regular on the Tamworth
and Sydney live music circuits performing as part of a duo, soloist and backing
vocalist at many venues including the Vanguard and the Basement.
Rae was one half of award winning Australian country music duo, The
Harmonators. Their highly acclaimed second album, “Big Mouth”, released in 2012,
included 6 tracks written or co written by Rae, setting them up to be group/ duo
Golden Guitar finalists in 2013.
A regular at Country Music Festivals on Australia’s east coast, Rae has performed at
the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Urban Country Music Festival in Caboolture
QLD, the Gympie Muster, Central Coast CM Fest, Blue Water Bay CM Fest,
Whitlesea CM Fest, Barham CM Roundup and the Mildura Independent Country
Music festival.
A 2007 Country College of Music graduate and Toyota Star Maker finalist, Rae is a
resident vocalist for Splashpool, the New England North Wests premier corporate
events party band who also perform regularly at the TCMF, Parkes Elvis Festival
and more recently, at Armidale’s Big Chill Festival.
Rae continues to expand her professional singing career regularly performing in
shows with Tamworth’s own 2340 Big Band and performing in stage productions, A
Grand Night for Singing, Rock of Ages, and Funny Girl with Tamworth Musical
Society.
